The way I work

Some people might see this and say that I am procrastinating and not doing work on my blog. I see it as energizing and pumping myself up so I can work on my blog later. We all have our different points of view, but at the end of the day, if all the work is done there shouldn’t be any disputes or arguments. Results matter, how we get there might matter somewhat as well, but nowhere as near as the results.

A whole new world

So, in order to inspire myself and get some ideas popping in my head, I looked at some blogs made by my classmates. I found out that a lot of people were coming up with ideas that hindered the senses to a human body such as covering eyes, ears, mouth, etc. with the band-aids. The idea that I was able to come out with was able to help me with the directive, “Perspective”.

We never appreciate the senses we have nearly as much as we should. When my friend left his glasses on the table and went to the bathroom, I used my band-aids to cover up the lenses on his glasses. When he came back and put on the glasses he was obviously not able to see. I forced him to keep the band-aids on the glasses until I finished taking the picture and told him what all of this was for.

He kept telling me how it sucked to not be able to see for an extended time. Band-Aid has the ability to make us realize how important the senses, and in this case vision, are to us.

Everything is better with bacon!

I hear from my friends and movies all the time that “everything is better with bacon!” This common saying got me thinking… bacon kind of looks like a band aid. A band-aid’s job is to make people feel better and cover up their wounds. In a slightly different perspective, bacon makes people feel better about themselves when they enjoy the taste of it. If everything is better with bacon, would wounds get better with bacon, just like band-aids make wounds better?
